The 5 senses on the alert

Gourmet activities

this summer

All the senses are engaged in these micro-adventures full of local flavor. Learn, visit and taste with our local producers.

Ask the right questions: how do we raise snails? what do we make beer with? why are the vineyards of saint-joseph on hillsides? how to roast coffee?…
No question is stupid! get ready

Strolls
gourmet

All paths lead to wine! Sandrine, a guide specialized in oenology, will take you to discover the North-Ardechean paths with tasting of wines and local products in the open country or at the winegrower’s.

Sandrine takes you on steep paths (on hillsides) and facing south: remember to take good walking shoes, a stick, a water bottle, a hat and sun cream. All routes are different depending on the starting point chosen.

You need to be in good physical shape but the activity is accessible from 8/10 years old. And what a reward at the end! goat cheese, honey, jams, fruit juices… and the Saint Joseph wine from a local winemaker. The tasting at the arrival can be done either in the vineyards , or at the winemaker.
Strolls all summer from Sarras or Arras/Rhône.

Close your eyes, taste and travel

Have you ever visited a roastery? Alain will welcome you to talk about his passion: coffee.
He will explain to you how he chooses the coffees himself from the 4 corners of the world: he chooses to work with organic and ethical cooperatives.

You will see that the roasting is meticulous to arrive at the (almost) perfect taste!
Demonstration and tasting.

Tour of the roastery in Anneyron.
From July 1 to August 31. Every Wednesday at 11am, 2pm and 3pm.

Why does beer foam?
