"The hills of the Galaure

Take his mountain bike and survey the paths in door of DrômArdèche around the ideal palace on this course VTT N°8 “Les Collines de la Galaure” between Albon, the Galaure valley in the heart of the Drôme des Collines, …

Here is a rather sporty course of 33.5km for about 3 hours of mountain biking with beautiful singles. For the less athletic, opt for the electric mountain bike.

This circuit starting from the stadium of Saint-Martin des Rosiers in Albon will take you to the heights of Fay le Clos where you will enjoy the landscapes and the magnificent view of the Collines and the Vercors on a clear day. You will alternate between open landscapes and undergrowth. You will arrive on a magnificent path very playful and rolling which goes along the Galaure during 7 km between the motte de Galaure and Chateauneuf de Galaure. The opportunity to have a break at the water’s edge.

You will then have to go back up on the heights towards Mantaille to gain the Tour d’Albon. Do not hesitate to visit this historical monument and enjoy the panoramic view of the Rhone Valley and discover the history of the Dauphiné. Then enjoy the sandy descent for a last single before reaching the parking lot.

I love to ride mountain bikes, it allows to do sports and it gives great sensations, you go at your own pace and it allows you to discover each day a different look on the landscapes and the nature you meet.

Each season is a perpetual wonder. I love to practice in spring and summer and enjoy the coolness of the trails in the woods and along the river. What I like is the discovery, the heritage and it’s happiness when at the bend of a walk you find the path of a buzzard, a doe or an ashy heron.
