Diane de Poitiers, duchess of Valentinois and Diois, and countess of Albon, was the favorite of king Henri II, son of François I, who reigned from 1547 to 1559 and her beauty remained legendary. Priory of Charrière

Also called Saint-Pierre priory, it consisted of a Romanesque Benedictine church that depended on Cluny from the 10th to the 12th century, on the remains of which a convent was built in the 15th century by the Franciscans of the order of Friars Minor.

Generally, they are opened in the morning and closed in the evening by a volunteer. Sometimes you have to call and the phone number is on the door.
Are the tours accessible to children?
Of course! children often love to enter churches. You have to be quiet and still to admire the colors of the stained glass windows, the paintings and the statues. Everything seems golden to them, everything seems majestic.
Is it possible to give guided tours of churches and priories?
In the summer, some churches and priories offer guided tours like Charrière. For others like in Manthes you just need to make an appointment with the local association.
